East Devon Way

The East Devon Way is a 40 mile trail that was developed by East Devon District Council in 1991 to show-case the magnificent scenery and wildlife that make up the East Devon Area Of Natural Beauty (AONB).

East Devon is an area where many of the hills, woods, rivers and hill forts are accessible only on foot.

The Way links footpaths, bridleways and stretches of country lanes to create an inland route from Exmouth, through the AONB to Uplyme (and Lyme Regis)  – where it connects with the South West Coastal Walk, The Liberty Trail and the Wessex Ridgeway.
